Before You Arrive

Theatre On Kew performances take place in the stunning grounds of the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew. Here is everything you need to know to make the most of your evening.

Getting Here

The Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew is easily accessible by public transport. The nearest stations are Kew Gardens (District Line & London Overground) and Kew Bridge (South Western Railway). Limited parking is available nearby.

The Brentford Gate Car Park is not available for Twelfth Night. Patrons requiring easy access or with accessibility needs are encouraged to park along Kew Road and enter/exit via Lions Gate.

What to Bring

Gates & Timing

Gates open approximately 60 minutes before the performance. We encourage you to arrive early to find a great spot. Family theatre performances typically run for around an hour and a half, and Twelfth Night has a run time of 2 hours and 45 minutes including an interval.

Food & Drink

You are welcome to bring your own picnic. Alternatively, food and beverages are available for purchase at various outlets within the gardens. Please note that glass is permitted in the gardens.

As a Kew Member, you have access to special discounted ticket prices for Theatre On Kew productions.

You must present your valid Kew membership card at the entrance on the day of the performance.

Buying for your group?

You may purchase tickets for others in your group at the member rate. However, the Kew Member must be present and display their membership card on entry.

A transaction fee of £1.95 applies per booking.
